The Club Officers' Training Institute was held on 22nd May,2010 at Calcutta Club. Dist. Chairman Snigdha Barat introduced the District Chairman (Elect) Sumita Roy and handed over the proceedings to her. Sumita introduced the incoming Executive Members and explained the the new IIW theme to the incoming Presidents & Secretaries. She announced her plans and programmes for the coming year.

Past Association Secretary Dr.Bhabani Dhar explained the role of President. Other Past District Chairmen spoke on duties of Secretary, Protocol & Ethics, importance of Joint Projects, Election procedure, Fellowship and website.

At the end of the meeting Question & Answer session was conducted by PDC Dr.Shibani Das.

The 33rd District Assembly 'BIBHUTI' was held on 5th June,2010 at Royal Bengal Hall, City Centre, Salt Lake.  

In the inaugural session Mrs.Sumita Roy was installed as District Chairman by Mrs.Snigdha Barat, District Chairman (2009-10).

The programme started with lighting the ceremonial lamp by out going Chairman Snigdha Barat, incoming Chairman Sumita Roy, Past Association President & PIIWR Dr.(Mrs)Lalita Seth and  District Executive Committee Members. Past District Chairmen and dignitaries were felicitated by District Chairman. Dr.(Mrs) Lalita Seth was the Chief Guest of this Assembly. District Secretary presented the activities and projects of all the clubs by power point. Chairman's News Letter, Assembly Souvenir and District Directory (2010-11) were released  by PIIWR Dr.Lalita Seth. Newly Installed Chairman Sumita introduced the members of District Executive Committee for 2010-11. After the Business Session the programme was terminated followed by fellowship lunch. 352 members were present in this Assembly.
